OUR FOUNDER

Donna Swift is a classroom performing arts educator and the founder and director of IMP for Kids, a groundbreaking youth theater company that fosters community connection through performance. Donna is a certified arts integration specialist who developed and led a successful arts integration program at a K–5 school, blending creative expression with academic learning to support student growth. Renowned for empowering student voices and making a lasting impact on local communities, Donna has dedicated her career to transforming education through inclusive, arts-integrated instruction.

With a Master’s in Curriculum and Teaching from Fitchburg State University and a Bachelor’s from Emerson College, Donna brings over two decades of expertise to designing innovative programs that seamlessly align academic and national arts standards. She excels in crafting engaging, standards-based curricula that merge theater, music, dance and core academic content, inspiring creativity, collaboration, and deeper learning in all types of classrooms.
